Wednesday-Bakersfield. WOW! The excitement started off with another call from Brian! :o) He knew I was going to Bakersfield but he didn't think I was leaving until later in the day so he called me about noon. Jennifer was laughing because she said we sounded way too cute already! :o) Brian and I made plans to see each other the next day and then Jennifer and I tried to find the guys. Not a hard thing to do in Bakersfield! They were at the brand new Doubletree. I almost ran right into Howard's bus as it was leaving! What a way for a 2nd meeting huh? :o) We missed everyone boarding their buses except for Kevin. I know now that Cathy, Dana & I lucked out in Boise! Security around the boys is so tight now that their bodyguards are not letting the fans closer than 20 feet! I feel sorry for them. Kevin looked at us and just kind of wrinkled his eyebrows and shook his head as Carlos literally PUSHED him on to the bus!

On to the show... :o)

Bakersfield is totally lax when it comes to cameras and signs! They didn't even ask me if I had a camera and didn't look twice at my signboard. Their only question to me was "Do you have a laser pointer or a knife with you?" LMAO! Jennifer and I had 2nd row center seats! OMG! They were fantastic! I met 2 people from one of my message boards shortly before Sisqo went on. It was cool! They were really nice.

Howard, Brian and to a certain extent, Nick & Kevin were putty in my hands! OK...maybe just Howard but Brian was pretty close! I started the night with a sign saying "Brian and Howard! We Love You!" Brian saw it, waved at us and smiled. Howard saw it, winked at me, smiled and blew me a kiss! Next up I made one that said "We will miss you in San Diego!" Brian saw it during his solo. He actually stopped to read it! It was SO COOL! He shrugged and said sorry. Howard saw it during his solo, winked at me and then blew me another kiss! Kevin saw it during his solo, waved to me and said sorry! Jennifer tried a couple of signs but it just wasn't her night... I made a sign that said "Howard! Let's see some hip action!" He stood DIRECTLY in front of me and shook his hips for all they were worth! :o) Nick-LMAO! When they brought the trunk out I held up a sign that said "TAKE IT ALL OFF!" Nick LOVED it! He grabbed Howard and pointed to me, then he read the sign aloud and started stripping more than usual! :o) He unzipped his pants but then zipped them back up! CHICKEN!!! Howard took his belt off and started to unbutton his pants and then he turned to Nick, pointed to me and he goes "Is she talking to you?" and he winked at me! I pointed to the sign and then to him! He wrinkled his nose and started giggling! He is SO cute when he does that! I held up the sign again when Kevin was doing his little "Kevin Show" solo. His eyes got HUGE and his mouth dropped open! He stuck his tongue between his teeth and did that laugh all Kevin fans despise!

Now onto the best part...

After they did the stuff on the small stage and came back over, they grabbed their instruments and started doing Answer to Our Lives. I had a sign that said "Howard! You write beautiful music!" since he had just finished with How Did I Fall In Love With You. I didn't think he saw it since he was moving around so much so I put it down and started taking pictures again. He grabbed the DLF Bear. Came over in front of me, kissed the bear and tossed it to me! It went over my head AGAIN but it bounced off someone's hand and landed in mine! YES! I have Howard's signed DLF Bear now!!! I turned back around and he winked at me! I made a sign saying "THANK YOU HOWARD!" He saw it, winked and blew me a kiss! He tossed 2 more bears later on to the people at the sides of the arena. He hurled them to no one in particular, so I felt kind of good that he purposely tossed one to me! :o)

Alex...he was so cute! There was this little girl-maybe 6 at the most, in front of me. Alex sat down in front of me on the stage and he started lamenting about only having time for 2 more songs. He spotted the little girl and he asked her if he could have a hug! She shook her head no and he said, "Awe come on, can't I have 1 hug?" Her dad told it was OK and she said yes. Her dad carried her up to the fence and handed her over to Marcus or at least Marcus helped support her. Alex hugged her and gave her a kiss on the cheek. Out of nowhere Brian appeared and did the same. It was so FREAKIN' adorable!! Lucky little girl!

Last sign of the night was an attempt for Jennifer. Her birthday is Tuesday. She had tried to use the signboard to get Brian to wave to her but he hadn't so I decided to give it a go. I made a sign that said "Brian! It is her Birthday!" with an arrow pointing at Jennifer. He saw the sign and said "Happy Birthday" to me! I pointed to Jennifer and he kinda did a double take and then said "OH OK! Happy Birthday!" and waved. I don't think Jennifer saw him though but my 2 friends from the message board did so between the 3 of us we convinced her Brian had wished her a Happy Birthday! :o) I think she felt pretty special!

Did I leave anything out? OH! There was silly string galore after the guys went over the bridge! Kevin started pulling on it and said something like "It looks like Charlotte's Web in here!" LOL!
