Sasha stood in the doorway of Bailey's room, not making a sound. She was enthralled by the scene before her eyes. Brian sat in the rocking chair beside Bailey's crib with her cuddled in his arms. He gently rocked her back and forth as he spoke quietly to her. The love between father and daughter was abundantly apparent as Bailey snuggled in closer to Brian and rested her head on his shoulder. Brian glanced up and motioned for Sasha to come closer.

"I think you had better just leave her here with me today. She still has a fever."

Sasha nodded. "I thought she felt warm when I checked on her a little while ago."

Brian nodded. "Her temperature is back up again and she didn't want to wake up. I think I'll just keep her with me." He kissed the baby's hair. He looked up at Sasha. "Sasha, you don't have to take Tyler and Hannah with you either. I'll be fine."

"Too late!" Sasha said smiling. "We've planned out the whole day!"

"You're sure you are OK with this? I don't want to be a burden to you."

"A burden? Don't be ridiculous Brian! I volunteered remember?"

"Still Sawsh, you've done so much already."

Sasha shook her head. "Brian, please don't take this the wrong way but this is the most excitement my life has seen in a long time!"

Brian laughed. "That sounds pretty pathetic Sasha!"

Sasha shrugged. "I know. My life is incredibly dull. It is kind of nice to be needed once in awhile."

Brian arose from the chair and placed Bailey back in her crib. He moved closer to Sasha and hugged her. "I really do appreciate everything you're doing Sasha."

"Just tell me if I get to be annoying OK? I want you to know I am here to help you if you need and want me to." She replied hugging him back.

"Thanks Sawsh." Brian kissed her cheek.

"I'm ready for you to do my hair Sasha!" Hannah said skipping into the room.

Sasha and Brian separated. "How do you think we should fix your hair Hannah?" Sasha asked guiding the little girl back into the bathroom.

"Can you French braid?"

"Yes I can." Sasha replied.
