"Your dad took Bailey to the doctor because he thinks she might have an ear infection."

"Again?"

Sasha wrinkled her brow. "I can tell the two of you are really worried about her."

"She'll be fine." Tyler stated. "Can I grate the cheese?"

"Can you do it without cutting your fingers?"

Tyler nodded. "Mom taught me how."

"Please be careful!" She replied handing him the grater and the block of cheese.

"What can I do?" Hannah asked jumping up and down.

"Why don't you rinse the lettuce and then tear it into tiny pieces and put in a bowl?"

"We usually grate the lettuce." Tyler stated.

Sasha nodded. "I usually do too but I don't know what else Hannah could do to help." She unwrapped the meat and placed it in a frying pan. Turning the heat to medium, she started chopping the meat into smaller pieces as it cooked. "How are you doing there Tyler?" She asked glancing over at the boy.

"Pretty good. Should I grate the whole thing?"

"Probably. I love cheese!" She moved closer to check his progress. She took a small bit of cheese and popped it into her mouth. "Mmmmm!" She hummed. "This is good cheese! Let me know when the block gets too small for you to grate without scraping your fingers and I will finish. OK?" She said returning her attention to the meat.

"OK." Tyler replied, grating away at the cheese.

"Got room for another helper?" Brian asked as he entered the room with Bailey on his hip.
