Chapter 75
Kelli's mouth dropped open. "Brian, I don't know who you have been talking to but I think you need to find some new friends!" She exclaimed. "If Sasha had been raped, she would have told me. That is not something she would have kept to herself!" She noticed a genuine look of concern on Brian's face. "Did Sasha say something to you to make you think she had been raped?"
Brian shook his head. "Not exactly." He took a deep breath. He was more confused than ever about Sasha's life. He licked his lips. "Kelli, I'll be honest with you. Sasha and I had dinner on Friday night. I asked her to dance and while we were dancing, I…I kissed her. I guess I scared her because she suddenly wanted to go home. I thought maybe she had been raped or assaulted and I had spooked her."
Kelli smiled. "I probably shouldn't tell you this but since you seem concerned about Sasha, I'm going to anyway. As far as I know, Sasha is still a virgin. She has never had a boyfriend for longer than a month or 2 and from the talks we've had, I can honestly say I don't think she has any sexual experience. She completely clams up when I talk about things Max and I do. She turns red and gets embarrassed. Its really kind of cute!" She shook her head. "I think you probably scared her because she was afraid of what might happen. She's pretty innocent Brian. I guess that probably comes from how protective everyone was of her growing up. She didn't even really start to date until she was in college."
'Sasha said she wasn't a virgin.' He recalled. 'Maybe there is something she hasn't told Kelli.' Whatever the situation was, it was between Sasha and Kelli. He wasn't going to betray a trust Sasha had placed in him. "Thanks Kelli! I'm sorry if I worried you." He paused while he formulated what to say next. "Amateur psychology." He said shaking his head. "Just because Sasha is quiet and doesn't like to upset anyone, doesn't necessarily mean she was abused."
"OH! I think I can explain why she is like that!" Kelli bobbed her head.
