Behind Closed Doors

Chapter 77

With great trepidation, Sasha knocked on the door. She took a deep cleansing breath and let it out as she heard footsteps approach the door. A casually dressed blonde man, in his early 30's opened the door. "Hey Sasha. Come on in."

"Hi Trevor." She replied entering the hall. "Thanks for making time to see me this morning."

"My door is always open Sasha." He could tell by looking at her she was not doing as well as she had been when he had run into her earlier in the year. "Why don't we go into the kitchen and I'll make us some tea?"

Sasha followed him through the house and into the kitchen, never raising her gaze from his heels. She still wasn't sure she had made the right choice in calling Trevor but given what had happened over the weekend, she knew calling him was far better than the alternative.

"So what's going on Sasha? You sounded pretty frazzled when you called." He stated setting a cup of tea in front of her.

"I don't even know where to begin." She replied closing her eyes. She swallowed hard. "I started cutting again."

Trevor smiled. "I kind of assumed you had when you called." He tried to catch her eye as he set a cup of tea in front of her. "You don't usually call a counselor from an SI support group to tell them you're not cutting." Sasha didn't say anything. "What happened kiddo? Why did you start cutting again?"
