Samantha's eyes grew wide. "Est-ce que tu es Adam sérieux?" Are you serious Adam? Adam smiled and nodded his head. Samantha didn't know quite what to say. "Tu es seulement 19! Est-ce que tu es sûr que tu aves pensé ceci par? " You are only 19! Are you sure you have thought this through?

"Le deux de vous oublient que je parle français couramment aussi?" Are the two of you forgetting I am fluent in French as well? Jenna piped in giggling.

Adam and Samantha laughed. "I am happy for you Adam." Samantha said. "Do your parents know yet?"

"No." Adam replied shaking his head. "I haven't bought a ring or anything." He sighed and then looked at Samantha. "I just know I want to spend the rest of my life with her Sam. I have never felt like this before." He shook his head. "I don't know if I can explain it."

"You don't have to Adam." Samantha smiled at him as she gave Howie's hand a gentle squeeze. "I know exactly what you are saying." She closed her eyes and inhaled deeply. "I finally know precisely what you are feeling!"

Adam sighed again. "Mom and dad are going to freak when I tell them. They aren't exactly Keri's most ardent supporters you know. They are going to say we are too young to be getting married."

"Peter was barely 19 when he married your mom. Don't let him pull the age card if you feel you and Keri are mature enough to get married."

"He already asked me if what I am feeling where Keri is concerned is purely concupiscent." Adam said shaking his head.

Samantha laughed loudly. Adam shot her a look that told her to be a little more discreet. "I am sorry Adam!" She replied biting her lip in an attempt to ward off another laugh. "Peter is becoming more and more like my dad everyday. WHOA that is a scary thought!" She looked at Adam. "He really used the word 'concupiscent'?" Adam nodded. Samantha shook her head. "He couldn't just come out and ask if you & Keri were sleeping together. He had to work in some huge word so he didn't have to use 'sexual language'!" She laughed and briefly relayed the conversation in the airplane. "He was pretty relaxed with me but sometimes I wonder how he manages to talk to his patients when they need advice!"

"Tell me about it!" Adam added rolling his eyes. "I had to go look up concupiscent to see what it meant!"

"Trust me when I say my dad probably used that same word in a similar conversation with Peter!" 'And it wouldn't surprise me if I heard it again before the weekend is up.' Samantha thought to herself.

"It was kind of embarrassing when I found out what it meant. I mean Keri and I haven't even…" Adam blushed. "Well you know."

Samantha smiled. "Really?" Adam blushed a deeper shade of red and nodded. "I am surprised Adam, just because the two of you have gone out for so long. I am proud of you though. For sticking to your values and beliefs."

Adam shrugged. "We decided a long time ago that if we were meant to be together then we would be together on our wedding night. If we weren't meant to be together then we won't have any regrets about doing it with the wrong person."

"I am impressed Adam." Samantha edged a little closer to her nephew. "In a way I wish I would have waited. Howie makes me feel so loved." She shrugged. "I don't know. There are some things you can't undo. I just know I never want to be with anyone else ever again."

Adam grabbed Justin's knees so he wouldn't fall, then leaned down and kissed his aunt's cheek. "I am really glad you brought Howie here this weekend. I don't think I have ever seen you look as happy as you do right now."

"Thanks Adam!" Samantha smiled. 'I just wish the adults were as receptive as the kids have been.' She thought. "Well, it looks like we have reached home safely. Is anyone else as hungry as I am?"

Howie lifted Kara off his shoulders and over his head. "I am starving!" He added as he set her safely down on the ground. He took Samantha's hand in his and they followed the still chattering group into the house.
