Adam snapped out of his trance. "I don't think I ever remember Sam looking so happy. Even her eyes are smiling."

"It is obvious Howie has had a profound effect on her life." Kait added. "She is positively ebullient."

Adam looked at Jenna then back to Kait. "Translation please, o' sesquipedalian one." He asked bowing to her.

Kait laughed. "Wow Adam! Been visiting big words.com again?" she mocked raising her eyebrows at him.

"Very funny Kait! Just trying to keep up with you."

"I meant that Samantha is showing an enthusiasm she hasn't shown in a very long time." A wistful look came over her face. 'So this what a person in love looks like.' She thought.

"Are you OK Kait?" Jenna asked.

"I…" she paused "I was just thinking that I hope I fall as deeply in love someday as Sam & Howie have."

Jenna reached across the table and put her hand on the back of her cousin's. "We will Kait. We will." She smiled "If Adam can find someone to love him then there is definitely someone out there for us!"

Adam picked up a glass of water and lifted it above his sister's head. "Set the glass down on the table and back away slowly." Came a voice from behind him. Adam turned around to see Samantha and Howie standing there waving at him and grinning. "Just practicing an act of libation." He smiled as he set the glass down. "You know I wouldn't harm a hair on her precious head." He teased pulling Jenna into a headlock.

"So what is the topic of conversation here? " Samantha asked as Howie helped seat her back at the table.
