All 4 women smiled at Howie. For the first time since he had joined them, Jenna spoke. "I am not old enough to remember what Samantha was like when her anorexia was at its peak," she paused and looked around the table, having spoken the one word everyone else had avoided. She put her hand on top of Howie's as she continued "and unfortunately, I don't get to spend a lot of time with her now but to me the most important thing is to make sure Samantha knows you love her just the way she is."

"I agree Jenna." Jill stated. "When she was out of control before, we were constantly reinforcing in Samantha that she needed to eat because it made her more beautiful. She looks good right now, a little thin, but she is glowing. We need to make her realize that starving herself is only going to take away from the way she looks and not add to it."

Howie nodded. "I haven't mentioned to Samantha yet but I want her to spend at least part of the summer with me in Europe. Brian's girlfriend is coming over and I think Samantha would have a great time. I think it would also be beneficial for her to see what people in other countries consider beautiful as well."

"I think that is wonderful idea Howie! Samantha loves Europe and I am sure Tim will let her off to go with you." Cindy replied enthusiastically. "She rarely takes a vacation. In fact I think the last time she took any time off was when she went to help Lauren prepare for the birth of the baby. Even after everything that went on, Samantha still didn't take any time off. She threw herself back into her work as though nothing had happened." She shook her head before repeating. "That is a wonderful idea Howie!"

"What's a wonderful idea Cindy?" Samantha asked as she and Christopher rejoined the group.
