Samantha blushed. "Howie! That is ridiculous! How could you miss me when I was only gone about 10 minutes?"

Christopher cleared his throat. "Peepers aren't you forgetting something?"

Samantha turned an even deeper shade of red prompting Howie to question her. "Is there something you aren't telling us Samantha?" He asked mischievously.

She looked at the ground. "I missed you too." She replied quietly looking up at him with eyes but not moving her head.

Howie put his hand under her chin and brought her eyes up to meet his. He ran his hand along her cheek affectionately before leaning in to kiss her. Adam and Kyle appeared and started whistling. Samantha tried to break the kiss but Howie held her tight until he was ready to break the embrace. "I love you Samantha." He stated before quickly kissing her again. Samantha smiled shyly when they separated. "Do you think we could squeeze in one more dance before it is time to leave?" he asked. Samantha nodded somehow unable to speak. Howie excused the two of them as he lead her back out onto the dance floor.

"They are so adorable!" Kait squealed totally out of character.

"They certainly do regale in each other's company don't they." Christopher added.

"Yes, they do." Peter agreed. He turned to his brother. "Did you ever think Samantha would fall in love?"

Christopher laughed. "There was a time when I merely hoped she would one day go out on a date let alone fall in love!"

"Well I agree with Kait." Jill said. "They do make an adorable couple." She sighed. "Now if we can just get your father to see that…"

Everyone at the table took a deep breath and sighed. "Dad, can we please go back to the arcade?" Kyle asked.

"I suppose you have time for a couple of more games." Christopher stated as he watched his little sister dance. "Just don't go any farther than the arcade. I don't want to have to hunt you down."

"Cool! Thanks dad!" He turned to his cousin "Are you up for a few more games Adam?"

Adam hesitated but was rescued by Jenna. "I'll take you on Kyle. Come on."

The two of them headed off to the arcade. Adam turned to Kait. "Wanna dance Kait?"

"Sure Adam." Kait replied standing up. They headed on to the floor leaving the adults alone.

"So," Peter said breaking the silence. "How do we get father to see Howie is as wonderful as we know he is?"
